Staying put, for now

Well, it looks like everything has fallen into place once again. To make a long story short, mom's new insurance company has decided to cover dad at the Transitional Learning Center for another month. Dad is ready to be out of the TLC, but understands that this is the best place for him right now. Hopefully this additional month will allow him to live at home without too much assistance.

In related news, we are planning to have the house in Abilene completely remodeled in order to accommodate dad and make it more conducive to having a lot of company. This is estimated to take about 6 to 8 weeks. (As an aside and so I don't get a lot of questions as to why we don't just buy a house that has these attributes, the house was the house my mom grew up in. It is more cost effective to remodel the house than to purchase a new one.)

Continue to pray for my dad, specifically that he will have a good attitude about staying a Galveston for a little while longer and that he will continue to improve. Please pray for my mom as she will still be traveling from Abilene to Galveston each weekend.
