Marc's Musings

Well, mom dislocated her shoulder this morning. She was getting ready to go to school this morning and was preparing to scrape the ice off of the van’s windshield when she slipped on some ice. She was able to get in to see the doctor shortly after lunch. Nothing is broken and she says that she’s fine, but I’m sure that she’s pretty sore. As someone who has dislocated my knee several times, I know that her shoulder will never be quite the same.

As dad continues with his therapy, mom has to help him move to and from the wheelchair, not to mention just generally providing for him. Additionally, moving the wheelchair into and out of the van is not necessarily that easy. It is very important that she is healthy.
